A Day in the Park Fundraiser
The first Ethiopian Patriots event was held on October 9th at Burke Lake Park in Virginia. It was a wonderful event and official announcement of funds raised is forthcoming. T-shirt sales are still ongoing and donations are still accepted. The Patriots that took part in the Ethio-Italian war are aging and few in number. It's up to the Ethiopian youth to keep the spirit of the warriors alive and with the same spirit contribute to the betterment of our country.

Strategic Vision - Association of Ethiopian Patriots
The Association of Ethiopian Patriots held a two day outing at the Babogaya Resort in Bishoftu to determine the short and long term strategic vision of the association. In attendance were representatives from the President's Office, Addis Abeba University, Kotebe University, Department of Defense, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Artifact Study Representatives, Addis Abeba Police Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Association representatives. The two day outing was sponsored by the owner of Babogaya and president of the association, Lij Daniel Jote Mesfin. |

84th Anniversary of Martyrs Day in Addis Ababa
Members of the Ethiopian Patriots Association, officials and residents of Addis Ababa observed the 84th Anniversary of Martyrs Day in Addis Ababa today. The Martyrs’ Day is marked every year, February 19/20, to remember the over 30,000 Ethiopians massacred by Fascist Italian troops.

የካቲት 12 ቀን 1929 ዓ.ም በወራሪው ፋሽስት ጣልያን በግፍ የተጨፈጨፉ ከ30 ሺህ በላይ ኢትዮጵያዊያን ሰማዕታት 84ኛው ዓመት መታሰቢያ ዛሬ ጠዋት በአዲስ አበባ ስድስት ኪሎ የሰማዕታት ሐውልት በሚገኝበት ስፍራ ተከበረ።
